The June moved reading was a theatre trip to La Mama Theatre to see "When are you getting married?" part of the always enjoyable Explorations season.
This show embodies exactly what Explorations is all about - ". . .as these unpolished gems strut their wonderful stuff. . . "
Rachel is getting married! She's done it! She's achieved the goal. Except she realises that the challenge has just began. She now has to navigate the complexities of what she wants, with what her Mother wants and the expectations of her culture.
A promising show with an exciting future.

A special Moved Reading this month.
Through our residency at Northcote Uniting Church, we kicked things off with an Actors Gym before diving into a reading of the latest version of ‘Wing Attack, here if you need.’
After beginning its redevelopment during our La Mama Theatre residency last year, it’s been exciting to keep pushing the work further — testing moves, rhythms, language and new possibilities in the room together.
Big thanks to everyone who came in ready to play, experiment and build with us.
