Looking for a choir to join in Melbourne? Beautiful harmonies and lots of fun and friendship. Look no further than Sounds of Singing (previously Sounds of Southgate). Necessity is the mother of all invention. 2020 has caused many to invent new ways of doing things, as well as ways to keep ourselves buoyed, during these challenging times. Kate Sadler
composed a stunning, multi-layered piece called Ultrueya E Suseya which translates to 'onwards and upwards'. Ultrueya E Suseya is the motto for the Camino Way, encouraging pilgrims to put one foot in front of the other to reach their journey's end.

The Sounds of Southgate singers recorded it in their homes and Kate mixed it together to produce our first virtual performance. Each singer was asked to reflect on what 'onwards and upwards' meant to them and to provide an image and a quote to go with the recording. We hope our performance lifts your spirits and provides a sense of inspiration, hope and joy. Please feel free to spread the joy far and wide x
