Jack Hardmen is a q***r DJ based in Naarm with over 20 years’ experience playing across clubs, raves and festivals in Australia and internationally.

He is the co-creator and resident of art party Blankë POP as well as q***r techno rave HART Q***R TECHNO — two of Melbourne’s most respected alternative electronic music events. Both nights were built around the idea of bringing likeminded people together to create unique dancefloor moments, with intentional curation, diverse sounds, and a genuine sense of community.

A regular of the Naarm alternative/q***r/fetish scene, his sets move between progressive house, traditional techno, and hard techno, always bubbling with acid, a dynamic sound shaped by two decades of playing rooms that demanded versatility and rewarded risk. Every set carries a thread back to the q***r roots of electronic music, with carefully selected producers, labels, and styles that reflect the q***r culture our scene was built from.

His support credits include Marcel Dettman, Roi Perez, False Witness, MCML###V and Boris at events such as P**f Doof, Trough, Homo Erotica, Delinquent and Hanky. In 2023 he made his international debut in Berlin, playing ADAM — the Official Opening Party of Folsom Europe — one of the biggest events on the international q***r techno calendar.
