Earth Frequency Festival I cannot wait to be inside of you!! 😍

Truly honoured to be included in this year's incredible lineup, and to play on the infamous Love Camp stage.

I'll be bringing 1.5 hours worth of my mixed bag of downtempo and chill vibes, and by golly gosh I have some very beautiful music to share with you all.

I'll be travelling up from dark and gloomy Melbourne to escape the horrible weather, which will be a real treat. It'll also mean I'll be on the hunt for rave-buddies, so shout out if you're planning to go and let's kick some dust together!

Final round tickets are still up for grabs, so if you're on the fence, I reckon it's about time you jump down on the correct side of it and do what you know needs to be done... aka buy a fu***ng ticket -> https://events.humanitix.com/earth-frequency.../tickets

Here's the video rec of my set from 10 Years Of Delight Records at Whitehart Bar.

I played earlier in the evening from 5-6pm and threw down a selection of prog and deep house.

As a bit of a throwback to celebrate the 10th Birthday of one of my favourite local crews, I delved deep into the archives and played tunes predominantly from or around 2016, with a couple of exceptions.

Track list:
01. Him Self Her feat Kieran Fowkes - Gone Too Long (Compuphonic Remix)
02. Luttrell - Sunrise Song (Extended Mix)
03. Planet Funk - Chase the Sun (Makebo Remix - Extended Mix)
04. S*x Of Insects - I Can Hear the Light (Dave Pad Remix)
05. Guhus - Imaginary Dreams (Original Mix)
06. Mat, Ju'Go - Different Moves (Oliver Schories Remix)
07. Gui Boratto feat Come and Hell - Take Control (Original Mix)
08. Maya Jane Coles, Kcid - Brinks (Extended Mix)
09. Rudimental - Free (Maya Jane Coles Remix)
10. Dusky - Careless (Original Mix)
11. Kidnap Kid - Survive (Original Mix)

was a vibe! Overly impressed with what Kane Parsons was able to achieve in his directorial debut at only 20yo! Props to A24 for giving him the platform.

Did anyone else spot this cheeky easter egg?

I'm back with new music!

Still on the trip-hop tip, coming in hot with James K's most recent album, the modestly titled 'Friend'.

This bad boy dropped late last year, and it's been on repeat ever since.

It feels less like an album and more like a physical place you disappear into for one hour and one minute to escape reality. A warm, impossibly immersive haze that blurs ambient pop and trip-hop into something weightless and emotional.

What stands out the most is how it manages to so effortlessly balance dreamy pop sensibilities with an experimental edge. It's hypnotic and truly stunning from front to back.

Standout tunes: Blinkmoth (July Mix) and Doom Bikini.

Its ya boy J-Slyde here with some new music to share!

I've been on a heavy trip-hop tip over the past few weeks and have discovered some absolute gems along the way, so I thought it was only fair to share the gold.

Today we have Stone's debut album, Dream Curtain Eternally Gentle.

A delightful slice of moody 90s-esque, slow-burning boom-bappy beats that meander through downtempo and trip-hop textures across 9 delightful tunes. The only downside to this beautiful album is that its run time is a shy 45 minutes in length. Stone clearly opting for quality over quantity here... and I'm totally okay with that.

Choona highlight of the album: Soozy.

Historically accurate. And no, I will not explain myself.
