Ceardai Demelza Artist Artist enjoying portraiture in the expanded practice. I create goddesses for the Anthropocene. Ceardai Demelza is a Melbourne based artist.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) from the Victoria College of the Arts. She has exhibited in numerous exhibitions locally and interstate, including at the Ian Potter Museum of Art. She has won and been a finalist in many art prizes. She has been commissioned to do several public art activations for community events. In 2020 she attended and presented at the Association for Women and Myth

ology Conference in New Mexico, USA. Her paper will be published in the proceedings later this year. Her work focuses on creating new myths, heroines and fantasy worlds. Her favourite mediums are charcoal drawing and creating ‘paintings’ with her theatrical tableaux.
