✨ A New Chapter for Melbourne TV — Weekend Live Goes Beyond the Studio! 🎨📺

Melbourne came alive once again this weekend — and this time, Melbourne TV took Weekend Live beyond the studio for the very first time! ✨

Today marked a special milestone as our first-ever Melbourne TV Weekend Live program broadcast at an external location, and what a beautiful location it was — Sketchroo, a unique art gallery and creative studio where creativity, culture, colour, and community came together beautifully.

The artistic charm of Sketchroo created a truly magical backdrop for the program. Every corner, every artwork, and every detail of the gallery added its own character to the atmosphere, while our wonderful special guests brought even more warmth, energy, and beauty to the space. 🎨🌸

A few moments captured through the lens — celebrating the special guests who joined us today, the talented presenters, performers, and the incredible team behind the production who worked tirelessly to bring another memorable edition of Melbourne TV – Weekend Live to life.

Taking Weekend Live outside our regular studio environment was more than just a change of location — it was another step forward in the journey of Melbourne TV, opening the door to new spaces, new experiences, new connections, and new possibilities within our community.

And this program carries even more significance because it is the last Weekend Live before the Melbourne TV 6-Month Anniversary Special Live Program, which will be held on 30 August 2026 at Colombar, Richmond. 🎉✨

Six months of entertainment, creativity, culture, friendship, dedication, and community — and this journey continues to grow.

Melbourne TV and TV Zeylon - Australia made the studio absolutely electric! ⚡ We've brought together a glimpse of the rich culture, vibrant energy, and incredible atmosphere that made this weekend truly spectacular.

What started as a vision has truly become a cornerstone of cultural celebration for the Sri Lankan Victorian community. This edition was extra special. The Live segment graced by three stunning queens from the Viswa Awurudu Kumariya contest, who brought both beauty and wisdom to the screen as they shared their inspiring journeys to the crown.
