'A Week in the Lane' is all complete.

This piece grew slowly over the week in response to Pennyweight Walk and the layers of creativity and everyday life that quietly exist here on Dja Dja Wurrung Country.

There’s a penny and a paperweight referencing the name Pennyweight Walk itself. The Bendigo Pottery mug is a small love letter to the incredible creative history of Bendigo and the makers who continue to shape this region. Wattle winds through the work as a nod to the blooming landscape, and the blue tongue lizard is inspired by one of the little locals who lives in our driveway at home.

Thank you to all the artists I was lucky enough to work alongside this week, it was such a privilege witnessing their artworks come to life. The City of Greater Bendigo for creating this opportunity, and to everyone who stopped for a chat during the week, you are all wonderful ✨

Mansfield today to see the Bald Archy on tour!

This exhibtion travels all over Australia for a year, so it feels extra special to catch it here in Victoria, my home state, in such a beautiful town.

Very fun seeing my painting of Pauline in a new environment, she’ll be on the road all year with a bunch of very clever and hilarious artworks.

I was very lucky to score a ticket to the run-through of .timetart Art History Comedy Highlights Tour at the NGV this morning! Playful, hilarious, scandulous and genuinely the most fun I will ever have on an art tour - ever! If you get the chance, go see .timetart !!! Here’s a little sketch I made on the train home in honour of the magical experience!

It began with a short viral video by Pauline Hanson about 25c bags, and last night I stood at the Bald Archy Prize opening with my work on the wall as a finalist.

So grateful to be included in an exhibition that embraces humour and play, and honoured to share the space with such thoughtful and brilliantly funny creatives. 💛

BIG HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL MURAL - ELTHAM COPPER BUTTERFLY
In December, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the wonderful staff and students at Big Hill Primary School to create this mural. It celebrates the life cycle of the Eltham Copper Butterfly, with the Big Hill proudly standing in the background.
Being part of such a beautiful community was truly a joy, and I’ve now got a very soft spot for Big Hill Primary School.

Creating a special artwork for the new footpath in the children's section at the Rochester Cemetery was an absolute joy. My sincere gratitude to the Adams Family for entrusting me with the opportunity to give life to your vision. A special shout-out goes to the dedicated individuals managing the logistics of the cemetery – thank you so much for having me on board for this truly important project.
