The Kraken Sub From the murky depths. the Kraken Submarine has surfaced! An interactive mutant vehicle built to inspire & facilitate parties everywhere.

The Kraken Submarine (KSub) is an interactive art and performance vehicle. Built on top of a heavily modified Ute chassis and engine, we added a welded structural frame. Curved ribs were then attached to define the exterior shape and skinned in wood to complete the look of a Steampunk meets Yellow Submarine deep-sea vessel. This presence from the outside is what people will first experience, and m

any are astounded once they discover you can climb inside, and drive it around! Entering the hatch brings you into the Captain’s Quarters –
seating for 10, a visually rich place of nautical and scientific
paraphernalia and ethereal lights, with a bo***ir feel. Adjacent to the Captain’s Quarters level is the cockpit, itself an impressive enclosure which houses the captain piloting the KSub, multiple camera feeds of the surrounding area for proximity safety, as well as an equipment rack which houses the supporting infrastructure, computers, amplifiers, and so on. Climbing the ladder brings you to the main deck. This has space for 10 to 15 people and provides an optimal platform for perusing the high seas and the dancing crowd beneath. Upward from the main deck is the sonar deck which is the DJ and performance booth.

Over the Anzac Day long weekend, we brought a piece of SynCity to the inaugural Victorian burn - Underland.

With flavours from Kamp kraken, Coco Poco Loco and Middle Eastern Mafia it was great to see the Babylon dome in all its glory again and reconnect with some of our beautiful burner community.

In three weeks on May 21 we will be getting the gang back together again and taking over The Industrique, throwing it back to the crazy 80's club called studio 54.

It's been a busy few weeks at Kraken HQ and it's about to get busier!

On Wednesday the K-Sub will be helping RMIT celebrate their 130th birthday.

This Saturday we will be docking at the Seaworks in Williamstown for the Sea Shepherd Melbourne's Stand Fast Festival
