English stage production "FINAL SOLUTIONS" by City Lights Production in Melbourne Australia.
We are looking for anyone over the age of 18 to be part of this play.
Play Synopsis:
This is a play based in an Indian city's middle-class family amidst religious riots. The head of the family Ramnik is haunted by the knowledge of his fortunes and how it was acquired. Aruna, Ramnik’s wife, lives by the strict code of the Sanskar and her daughter, Smita, cannot allow herself a relationship with a boy. The pulls and counter-pulls of the family are exposed when two boys, Bobby and Javed, seek shelter in their house on being chased by a baying mob. Bobby is a moderate while Javed is an aggressive youth. After a nightlong exchange of judgments and retorts between the characters, tolerance, and forgetfulness emerge as the only possible solution to the crisis. Thus, the play becomes a timely reminder of the conflicts raging across the world.
