M Melbourne Opera completes its historic cycle of Richard Wagner’s major works with a new production of his last great masterpiece, Parsifal: a towering work of compassion, redemption and renewal, with some of Wagner’s greatest and most innovative music.

One of the world’s great Wagnerian conductors, Anthony Negus CBE, leads a magnificent all-Australian cast directed by Suzanne Chaundy, with Warwick Fyfe as Gurnemanz, Anna-Louise Cole as Kundry, Bradley Cooper as Parsifal and Christopher Hillier as Amfortas, alongside the 90-strong Melbourne Opera Chorus and 100-piece Melbourne Opera Orchestra.

Returning to the Regent Theatre, home to our acclaimed Lohengrin, Tannhäuser, The Flying Dutchman and Das Rheingold.
