About Us
Sensory Pit focuses on stimulating your little ones senses (touch, smell, taste, sight and sound) through a variety and sensory and messy play activities. Seeing children coming together, making a mess whilst having fun with one another is what puts a smile on our dials.
Sensory activities and sensory tables facilitate exploration and naturally encourage children to use scientific processes while they play, create, investigate and explore. Spending time stimulating their senses helps children develop cognitively, linguistically, socially, emotionally, physically and creatively.
Sensory Pit runs 1 hour sessions for children from 12 months-6 years, our activities are forever changing and promise to always be colourful, tactile, engaging and fun. Please remember that there is no pressure to participate, you know your own child best! If they prefer to keep their hands clean and just watch, let them! Curiosity will most likely get the better of them eventually.
Sensory Pit provide an art smock for each paying child, however we suggest that you stay away from that pretty little frilly frock and bring your child in comfy old clothes. Heads up! Might be an idea to bring your little one a change of clothes.
