Some people call me "Bellydance Mama". I don't mind that name, although I think it makes me sound a bit older than I am, right? The point is, I have been a professional bellydancer for over 30 years and I love what I do.

I love performing

I love developing junior dancers to professional level

I love teaching bellydance classes for the girls that just come for fun

I love partnering with our beautiful venue partners, who help us bring the joy of bellydance to their customers every week, shout out to Cairo By Night, Ancient Memories, Jungle Rooftop, and Eleni's Kitchen and Bar along with so many other venue partners we have worked with over many years.

I love working with the Melbourne Bellydance Pro Team, at training every week, they are all gorgeous, talented and incredieble. They are all family.

I love supporting other bellydance schools and academies, we are all here because we share a passion, and we al bring something incredibly unique to this beautiful artform.

About the Workshop💫
In this workshop Esra will teach three basic Egyptian Shimmy techniques, breaking down each movement with clarity and precision. The first half of the workshop will cover technique and combinations followed by an hour of choreography to song El Gaw Hadi- Abd Elbaset Hamouda with translation of lyrics provided.

About your Teacher✨
Esra is a passionate women’s bellydance instructor from Egypt certified by Samia Allouba Academy one of Cairo’s most respected dance and fitness institutions known for its high-level training and diverse dance
programs. Her teaching focuses on posture, fluidity, isolation, and emotional connection to the music.
