Start your burly journey with us at Maison Burlesque!

Are you looking for a fun casual course to spice up your life? Well, we've brought in the perfect course for you! Burlesque Basics is a beginner friendly course where you'll learn all of the key skills every burlesque novice needs in their tool kit. Including skills such as:
⭐ Bumps and Grinds
⭐ Showgirl Feet
⭐ Lines, extensions and hand movements
⭐ Vintage dance styles
⭐ Simple str!ptease
⭐ Props such as feather fans, silk fans and chair dance
⭐ Beginner character development
⭐ Developing confidence and a basic understanding of the art of burlesque!

This is the perfect class to join before jumping into the deep end with our 8 week showcase courses. Suitable for all genders with no experience needed!

Introducing Yoga & Pilates at Maison Burlesque! 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

Complement your burlesque training, build stregth and flexibility, or simply come along to move/stretch/feel good in your body!

To celebrate this addition, all Yoga and Pilates classes throughout Term 4 are at a special introductory rate of just $12 a class.

Including:

🌟 Hatha Flow Yoga
Come home to your body as we breathe, move and explore traditional hatha yoga practices through a modern, accessible lens.
Classes include breathwork (pranayama), yoga postures (asana), flowing sequences, and simple energy practices to build strength, balance, flexibility and mental clarity.

🌟 Slow Flow into Yin Yoga
Come home to your body as we breathe, move and gradually soften into stillness.
This class begins with slow, mindful flow movement to build warmth, before moving into longer-held yin yoga postures with props as support.
Expect breathwork, gentle flowing sequences, floor-based poses and simple awareness practices to support flexibility and nervous system regulation.

🌟 Mat Pilates
Build strength, control and body awareness through a floor-based Pilates class using controlled, mindful movement.
Mat Pilates supports core strength, posture, flexibility, breath awareness and stability, with a focus on developing strong, functional movement for everyday life, dance and performance.
