Are you looking for a fun casual course to spice up your life? Well, we've brought in the perfect course for you! Burlesque Basics is a beginner friendly course where you'll learn all of the key skills every burlesque novice needs in their tool kit. Including skills such as:

⭐ Showgirl Feet
⭐ Lines, extensions and hand movements
⭐ Vintage dance styles
⭐ Simple str!ptease
⭐ Props such as feather fans, silk fans and chair dance
⭐ Beginner character development
⭐ Developing confidence and a basic understanding of the art of burlesque!

Join us for two massive weeks of evening workshops and a 2-day weekend intensive programs!
Beginners: we highly recommend booking into anuy of our OPEN LEVEL evening workshops.

💋 Casual / Drop In Classes
📆 Term commencing June 6th
If you’re looking for just a casual burlesque based dance class to dip your toe into the big world of str!ptease, then we recommend trying our “Burlesque Basics” class every Sunday! Book in for the full 8 weeks or individually for whichever weeks you can attend, where each week you’ll focus on a new skill in the Art of Tease!

💋 Beginner Showcase Courses
📆 Term commencing June 5th
If you’re looking for a slower paced course, or you’re keen to perform on stage, then try one of our Beginner Level 8-week Showcase courses. In these courses you will learn 1 routine over 8 weeks with the option to perform at our end of term Cherry Poppers Showcase at Max Watts. Beginners: we highly recommend our introductory to burlesque performance course, "Burlesque Fundamentals", commencing Monday June 8th.
