It's a full moon, the dark chinatown alleyway lights up like model's runway as the throbbing beats beckon you up the stairs and into the smorgasbord of debauchery for the midnight run all your friends have been talking about. You think she may have just winked at you but you've just noticed Mick Jagger sitting in the booth to your left. You start to introduce yourself but you're distracted as the
Dandy Warhols brush past you and onto the dance-floor. You try and follow them but you lose them in the sea of people. As you peer through the jungle of tight jeans you think you see David Bowie, but you could have been mistaken. Nevermind, James Brown is entertaining the crowd and you're starting to feel pretty damn good. As colour and light flash past you spot Vampire Weekend off in the distance engaged in an arm wrestle with The Beach Boys. As you succumb to the rhythm the night the rest becomes a blur, although you have a strange memory of watching the sunrise with LCD Soundsystem. You're not quite sure how you got home, but you do know one thing. Next time the clock strikes midnight on Saturday you'll be back. Who gives a f**k about Sunday mornings anyway.
