Last weekend, VDF was in full swing!!!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Scimm. booth, said hello, grabbed some information, or joined us for our Junior and Senior Contemporary classes. Seeing so many dancers moving, learning, and connecting with our community was a highlight of the weekend.

Scimm. Dance Pre-Professional returns to Gasworks Theatre for Winter Season 2026, a powerful showcase of contemporary, classical and commercial works created by some of Australia’s leading choreographers and performed by dancers in the heart of their full-time training.

Featuring works by Samuel Dominic, Andie Dashwood, Bailey Glen, Ben Scarmozzino, Tyler Carney, Stephen Tannos, Ashtyn Gloury, Michael Ralph, Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes.

Join us on Friday June 5th for a FREE Pre-Professional Open Day and experience a full day of ballet, contemporary and commercial classes with our incredible faculty.

For dancers aged 16+ wanting to explore where contemporary dance could take them, this is your chance to step inside the Scimm. environment and train alongside our nurturing and supportive community.
