Gubbi Gubbi and Butchulla nations share some of the same language!? wongari/ wangari means dingo in Gubbi Gubbi and Butchulla language and wadja-garum can also mean dingo or domestic dog referring to our fur friends and pets at home! Our words are often interchangeable! For safety ðŸĶš ⚠ïļ Remember Wongari are not pets and should never be approached on K'Gari or anywhere in their native territories. Junjurri Workshop has been quiet for a little while...

Country has been keeping our Djandjari /Junjurri friends busy... and guess what! A little kookaburra told me they'll be back soon with more stories for us to learn!

Luckily there's still all of our awesome content on YouTube, Instagram and right here on Facebook for you to enjoy this NAIDOC week and all year round.

We're looking at fun new ways to bring you stories and share awesome educational content too! Keep your eyes open for what's to come very soon!

We are so grateful for all of your ongoing support and all of our lovely Junjurri friends who care for country, and we look forward to having new adventures with you real soon!

Big Love,
