Today, a few little people reminded me exactly why I love what I do 💜

You don’t always realise the impact you’re having when you’re simply showing up and doing your ‘job’.

You teach the class. You listen to their unfiltered stories 😂 You encourage them. You have fun.

A parent asked me today, “Where do you get all the energy and patience to teach children 6 days a week?”

The truth is… I just love it.
Children have open hearts and big dreams. I love their honesty, their imagination, their joy and the way they feel EVERYTHING so deeply.

Their positive energy is contagious.

I might be the teacher in the room but I learn from them every single day.

Honestly couldn’t imagine life without teaching.

Such a privilege to be someone’s safe place, someone they look forward to seeing each week and a tiny part of the childhood they’ll one day remember 🥹💜

I still can’t believe this happened today.

I’ve been accepted into The Class NYC Somatic Education program on a FULL TUITION FELLOWSHIP 🥹😭

Never in a million lifetimes did I think I’d be chosen. I’m all the way over here in Melbourne and the program is in New York, which makes it so surreal.

No I’m not moving to NYC 😂 Thank goodness for Zoom 🥰
I can do all training from home or my studio.

It takes so much courage to step onto a stage and sing, act and tell a story in front of your family and friends. We are so proud of every single student who stepped into the spotlight today and shared their talent and passion 💜

Congratulations to both of our Performance Group teams who competed on Sunday. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you 💜

A special congratulations on placing in your sections! As a team of just 7 dancers, every single one of you had a big job to do. There was nowhere to hide, every dancer had to perform with confidence, commitment and heart. Holding a stage alongside groups of 20–30 dancers takes incredible courage, teamwork and trust in one another and you did exactly that. So proud 🥰

A huge thank you to your talented teacher Atlanta, your routines, music selections and choreography clearly show the love, time and dedication you pour into these teams. And as your former dance teacher, I can’t put into words how proud I am of you xx

Thank you to our incredible dance parents. It was a long day 😴 Thank you for the driving to and from Doncaster and patiently spending your Sunday afternoon and evening at Dance Competitions. On behalf of your children, we see the sacrifice and we appreciate you 😘

Most recently, you’ve probably seen him in Dance Life and Dance For Your Life.
