Each month, Cypher Culture compiles active grants and artist opportunities that may be relevant to the street dance community and its artists - from creating new work and developing your practice to professional development and community projects.

We’re excited to announce that Cypher Culture will be part of the long awaited reopening of the Ian Potter State Theatre at Arts Centre Melbourne Arts Centre Melbourne !

Housewarming is a free, live performance, directed by Michael Kantor, this event is bringing more than 100 Victorian artists together across music, dance, theatre and circus for a celebration of live performance.

Cypher Culture will be there collaborating with our friends from Jungle City Jungle City Projects performing on 9-12 October at Arts Centre Melbourne, alongside The Australian Ballet, Opera Australia, Melbourne Theatre Company and more.

Booking via the Arts Centre Melbourne website is essential. We can’t wait, see you there!

BASS, KICK, SNARE & CLAP! We’re so proud to be producing OVER9000 by The Unguided collective.

Opening night was completely sold out! OVER9000 is grounded in the principles of cyphering, freestyle, research and play. This is where the Bounce and Rock, two foundational Hip Hop grooves are more than foundation; it’s a language of connection, resistance and resilience.
