Coming up this weekend in Castlemaine!

Great bands + new tracks + records + tees + a good time!

If we were to describe the first gigs of Feb 2024, we only need one word, QUALITY.

Our regular celebration of local talent and live music returns, OPEN MIC - Castlemaine, hosted by Scott Sanders from 7.30pm - FREE ENTRY

Get your Viking helmets out on Friday night for Tim McMillan & Rachel Snow!

This is one for the musos, expect finger-style percussive guitar meets masterful violin accompaniment and a magical blend of vocals as Tim McMillan & Rachel Snow twirl their musical influences together to create a riveting potion of Celtic rock, folk, metal, classical & jazz, with a good bit on banter too. 7.30pm - FREE ENTRY

We have a big one on Saturday with a 3 band bill featuring Bollard, The great divides band and Post who will be coming down from Sydney. This will be a night to remember.

Bollard bring a unique blend of indie and noise rock, with shows that are eclectic and energetic.

It’ll be a Jangle out There, with local Castlemaine legends The Great Divides bringing their unique brand of idiosyncratic post-punk and pop songs.

Post are a class act out of Sydney that channels the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver and The National that will catch your breath this Saturday night. Tickets - bit.ly/bollardtaproom

On Sunday evening, The Django Fretts play in the Jazz Manouche style of acoustic guitars, double bass, and clarinet. Be transported to 1930s Paris by soaring French ballads and sizzling traditional folk classics. 5pm - FREE ENTRY
