There is always light in the dark...

This painting has been waiting to be finished for long time, you were with me during the sadest time of my life, some days I saw nothing but pitch black other days was a bit more light, and others I saw brighter colours, even though the sadness and darkness was and always will be there, at the end of the day you need to know dark to appreciate bright..

There is always light in the dark...

Good bye 2021, the saddest year of my life, the year that I learnt sadness physically hurts in your heart, mum you will live in my heart until the day we can be together again!
Hopefully next year I will be able to paint more remembering our happy moments, I know you were a proud mamá always admiring my work.

Also thank you 2021 for teaching us to be grateful for everything we have, for reminding us what really is important in life and to be able to really understand the meaning of don't take anything for granted.

Happy New year everyone!

¡Adiós 2021, el año más triste de mi vida, el año en que aprendí que la tristeza fisicamente duele en tu corazón, mamá vivirás en mi corazón hasta el día en que podamos estar juntos de nuevo! Ojalá el año que viene pueda pintar más recordando nuestros momentos felices, sé que eras una mamá orgullosa que siempre admiraba mi trabajo.

También gracias 2021 por enseñarnos a estar agradecidos por todo lo que tenemos, por recordarnos lo que realmente es importante en la vida y por poder entender realmente el no dar nada por sentado.
