New Grounds returns in January with IN:SESSION. It has been a few months since our last chapter but we are ready to kick things off in 2014! We have friends from Detrimental Audio and Bass Cartel joining us alongside our New Grounds residents. We will also be celebrating everyones favourite resident MC, Harzee's birthday so make sure you got ya dancing shoes ready for a top night of Drum and Bass!

Last year Lilly Pilly Photography celebrated her 1st Birthday at Melbourne's cozy and friendly Horse Bazaar in true antic style. With thank you speeches, images, music and shots all round. It was a night to be remembered.

This year we take our presence to one of Melbourne's well known venues, The Workshop. With Lilly Pilly Photography's fav beverage to come out of New Zealand, Monteith's Apple Crushed cider & Seasonal beer on tap with cheap delicious pizzas earlier on in the afternoon.

With many dance moves, parties and memories had at Workshop, Lilly Pilly Photography has grown accustomed to the vibes and friendliness of both the venue as well as it's staff members. Lilly Pilly Photography has decided that it will a great pleasure to hold it's 2nd Birthday with all the people that made all this even possible in one of her favorite venues.

Covering a broad spectrum of genres ranging from glitch-hop/ambient bass, dub, world funk/psychedelic rock, future beats and jungle/DnB with the entertainment of some of Melbourne's most notorious old-skool DJs of the underground culture including Sea Pilot, MONDO LOCO, Citizen.com, SYSTEM UNKNOWN and C:1.

Save the date and pencil it in for a night of beats, vibes and dance floor action. And, DON'T FORGET your smiles and best poses because the in-house photographer of the night, Rocksolid Photography, will be there capturing the fun as it unfolds ;)

Recently returning to Australia from his European/Asian tour, including featuring at the famous Outlook Festival, SAFIRE (BBA) will be gracing us with his presence once again, with a 90 minute set of funky, tech drum and bass in store for the Wobble crowd. His unique style and blend of rolling beats and heavy basslines is slowly becoming a recognizable sound in clubs around the world, and is truly unmistakable. After signing to Dispatch Recordings and collaborations with Dabs, Octane and DLR, among others, his productions are gaining respect throughout the scene, he was featured in Knowledge Magazine as one of their ‘Producers to watch out for in 2012′ and has truly lived up to that title.
As a founding member of legendary Melbourne-based Broken Beat Assault, Safire has DJ'd alongside the best the DnB scene has to offer, a true musical entrepreneur of electronic sounds and a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
