In the studio today are some collages…
💚
I’ve been having quite a lot of fun with paper lately. I’ve been making patterns for my collage packs….I’ve been messing around with gel plate printing and using paper to make images in new ways. I love the freedom and expressiveness of abstraction. Brush marks that have been made simply for their own sake and not to make a known object is what I’m interested in lately. Rhythm in painterly patterns and repeating shapes are one of my obsessions. Colour combinations are another. I paint because it keeps me sane. There’s a lot in me that needs to find a way out and so I dump the contents of my head onto a canvas so that my creative/brain catalogue doesn’t overflow.

✂️ I’ve been really busy making collage paper packs for those of you who like my patterns and my colour thinkings. You might like to use my handmade arty one off pieces in your artwork.
👉🏻I’ve got a limited supply in my online shop… check it out 🖤
