Neighbourly Help is the idea. It is an attempt to live a life that is relevant for the needs of the community. Not the community as the bigger unit, but every person individually. We know that everyone needs help with something. People grow older and are not able to do their gardening or the cleaning in and around the house anymore. Other people might have suffered from a immobilising injury or so
me work, you can imagine, might be too much for a one or two person household. That's where we step in. We believe that every single person deserves the help they need because hope is for everyone. Neighbourly Help is not so much about what we do, but more about meeting the needs. Living a relevant story. It started 2009 in Germany and now found its way to Australia. We believe that everyone deserves help. We believe that we have so much and we share so little. Neighbourly Help is the fight to share more. We received so much and we want to give even more. Neighbourly Help is a faith-based organisation that exists because we realised God's generosity towards us and decided to learn to be generous ourselves. The vision is a community where we give more than we receive to meet the needs of the less fortunate. The vision is a smile on someone's face who gave up hope to ever find help for the things in her or his everyday life. The vision is relief for grandmothers and -fathers, parents, people with disabilities or simply everyone who lost the strength to get through life alone. We help people regardless of their religion, political orientation, wealth or cultural background. Love is truly known when it comes to action. We need to stand up. We are the help for the less fortunate. Now it's our turn. Neighbourly Help
