After a few years of development and a successful premiere on Friday, we are so pleased for the The Wretched 2025 team to have their film out there! 🎉🥳

A huge kudos and congratulations to writer and director Scott Leopold, the entire cast and crew at every stage of the project, and a special mention to editor John David Tan who was tasked with the mammoth job of putting together the whole film without much prior project knowledge! 🤩💪

You can now watch The Wretched 2025 on STF’s Youtube channel: https://youtu.be/ysOZtOPoXO4?si=wsqyjiWqYfAigwkW

to Wretched's original production photos from 2021!

Writer and director, Scott Leopold, originally wrote The Wretched 2025 for STF's Moat Festival in 2021, which couldn't go ahead due to COVID lockdowns. It was then and rescheduled for Activate in 2021, which was also called off. ❌

From there, Wretched took on a new life as an independent film project with a small cast and crew.

The team rented equipment and made the film by themselves, it just needed to be put together.

2 years later, STF brought John David Tan on board as editor to put the final pieces together so that we can FINALLY share this work with you! 🎉

Tomorrow night is the only in-person screening before the film is released online on STF's Youtube channel.

RSVP at bit.ly/stfwretched to support and enjoy the hard work with us! 💪

AUDITIONS for Fergus Black's new play, THE WINE LIST! 🍷

You can audition in person (Friday 23 June, 11am-1pm) or online!

The Wine List follows the story of Alex and Susan, who reunite at a wine bar after dating in high school. They reflect on their pasts, coming to terms with who they are now.

It is a character-driven two-handed play that is perfect for a performer looking to get into the mind and motives of a single character.

Performed in Semester 2 at Bundoora campus.
