Afro-Caribbean Carnival is the coming together of people from all walks of life.
This event brings you the vibrance of our African and Caribbean roots.
Fed Square will come alive to the sounds of the foundation of urban music.
Four of Melbourne's heavyweight DIY sound systems will power up Melbourne most iconic venue in
the heart of Burn City. With some sound system standing as high as 3m tall,
you will see and hear the music before you get to the square. D.I.Y HiFi,
El Gran Mono, Heartical Hi Powa and Housewife's Choice Sound System will be
joined by the legendary Saxon Sound System from London UK for the inaugural Afro-Caribbean Carnival.
There will be hundreds of carnival lovers all dressed up in carnival costumes.
All tribes welcome to enjoy this rich Afro-Caribbean culture.
This event is FREE to the people of Australia and our international friends.
Make it a date and don't be late, come through the gate as there is no musical rates.
