🇨🇭 What a day at the Swiss Festival in Williamstown!
Seaworks came alive with alphorns, raclette, and the sounds of yodelling (yes, really). We wandered the markets, ate far too much cheese, and even joined in a bit of Swiss dancing. Who knew Melbourne could feel so alpine?

If you missed it this year, mark it in your diary for next time—it’s a cracker of a day out.

Swiss Festival Cheat Sheet 🇨🇭
The good-to-know stuff for Saturday, all in one place.

🌦️ WEATHER
Melbourne weather will do what Melbourne weather does. Most of the festival is indoors, with a few outdoor areas, so come prepared and bring a layer or two.

🚆 COMING BY TRAIN?
Take the Williamstown Line to Williamstown Station. From there, it’s just a short walk to Seaworks. Buses 471 and 415 are also options.

🚗 DRIVING IN?
You’ll find us at Seaworks on the Williamstown waterfront. Metered parking across Hobsons Bay is currently free, including around Williamstown. Time limits still apply, so please check the signs when you park. A parking fine is not the Swiss souvenir we have in mind.

🎟️ TICKETS
Tickets are available online and you can also grab one on the day. Kids under 16 are free, but they still need a ticket.

🐶 BRINGING YOUR DOG?
Dogs are welcome! Please keep them on a leash, clean up after them and make sure they’re comfortable in a busy festival environment.

🥨 FOOD + DRINKS
No need to BYO. We’ve got you covered with plenty of food and drinks available throughout the festival.

⌚ DOOR PRIZE
Everyone attending is eligible for our door prize. The winner will be announced at 3pm and you’ll need to be there to claim it.

👀 ONE LAST THING
For everyone’s safety, please leave weapons, glass, illegal substances and drones at home.

The Swiss take their sausages seriously. 🌭

And if anyone knows sausages, it’s Wursthütte.

Wursthütte has been perfecting European sausages since 1862 in Switzerland and since 1983 in Australia.

Stop by for free-range butcher favourites and a little taste of Swiss tradition.
