Last 2 days of shows for SwashBuckling Circus!

What exciting new things have I been working on? I am thrilled to be a part of SwashBuckling Circus, - Melb fringe 2024 - a family circus ensemble show debuting the Melbourne Fringe Festival at Studio Nexus (Preston)

Bring your kids, be the best Aunty/Uncle - or borrow your friend's kids! You'll be entertained too!

Join The Mighty Caesar, Ellis Merlino, Jay Ren and myself on our (mis)adventures of treasure hunting across the seas. Expect all of the acrobatic, aerial, juggling and hula hoop shenanigans you can shake a peg leg at!

Circus Nocturne it was a pleasure to perform for you this Melbourne Fringe season!

Massive thank you to Nick who created and performed this partner acro piece with me titled 'Not this time'. It was a lot of work but it really paid off.

Another massive thank you to all who came and saw our shows - it was wonderful to see so many friends in the audience supporting creatives.

Also big shout out to The Mighty Caesar for all his hard work producing and MCing our shows, and to Spinferno {Fire & Photography} for these wonderful photos!

Who is coming to Spinfest? This is definitely my favourite flow festival in Australia. After the first time I went... I had to go back every year!

I'm excited to be onboard the teaching team this time around - Nick Likane and I will be teaching beginners and intermediate L-basing and acro yoga.

Wooooow! What an incredible way to see in the new year. Thank you everyone who put in so much love and effort to make Subspace such a success!

Thank you everyone who witnessed the first performance from Interdimensional Creatures... a wee project of mine I've been gradually working on since the before-times. I am so happy to finally be able to bring this to an event - and I couldn't have thought of a more perfect occasion!

Much love to Madeline English, Jess Knollmeyer and Lizzie Scatolini who performed and for all the support through the challenges we faced. Also special mention to Molly St Clarentine for all the help with the face painting and Madeline English again for all the support with making the costumes. I have big plans for growing this concept so keep an eye out here if you'd like updates on where these creatures go.

So much respect for everyone who contributed music, decor, lighting, organisational skills, care and mad vibes over the weekend. It was an honour to share a dance floor with you all

Had such a great time roving in the weekend for the Seymour Carols! So many happy families enjoying being out again. The vibes were excellent, and Santa rocked up on a fire truck!

What a great team to rove with, and we get to do it all again next weekend!

I have just finished my 6 month Creative Workers in Schools residency with Regional Arts Victoria, shared with Kinetic Chaos - Fire and LED Performance.

What an incredible time it has been. It has been so heart warming to do the work we have with students and bare witness to their successes, discoveries and joy over this time.

We taught circus and performing arts at Sydney Road Community School, which is such a unique and heart warming learning environment with some of the most inspirational teachers I have ever met.

The residency was not without challenges, but I feel we met these really well and were able to pivot to online learning successfully and had great feedback on how our classes encouraged a more positive response to online learning.

Although the project did not end the way we planned, with us not being face-to-face, it still positively impacted the students we taught across terms 2 and 3.

Working for RAV has been a dream. There has been so much focus on upskilling artists in the program across so many areas, with amble professional development opportunities offered. Not to mention a BOSS manager Hannah Schneider who has been endlessly supportive to all the artists in CWS. Another shout out to Ailsa Wild who we were lucky enough to have as a mentor for part of the program.

This has been an unforgettable time in my life and I am so thankful to have had such meaningful work during such a challenging circumstances.
