As I sit here surveying the insects accumulating out my motel window, burdened with a heavy head cold which has restricted my sightseeing, I remiss on the joy of last Saturday and how agog we all were with masked sixty year olds crowd surfing in the gorge.

I am sure you will be able to decipher, but for those who miss the concept, I placed the song in current times, a man well past middle age, on the brink of retirement looking back at his years, and the “palace of love” almost being a symbol of a theme park, too old to visit again, but to be surrounded by the memories and the constant reminder of what once was…
Talk about deep!
