NEW SIGNATURE DRINK
⭐️𝕋𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕕 𝕒𝕄𝔼𝕣𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕟𝕠⭐️
When you think of Yunnan, it’s always pictured as Southeast Asia’s close neighbour. From geography to lifestyle, and especially food and drinks, there are so many shared flavours we all love. And one of those beloved tastes? 𝕋𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕕.
Yunnan’s love for tamarind runs deep. We grew up snacking on tamarind candy and sipping tamarind juice. Then, not surprisingly we discovered that our neighbourhood countries such as Vietnam and Thailand are just as obsessed with it. Tamarind is used in everything in Vietnam and Thailand from desserts to drinks and savory dishes, adding its signature sweet-tangy flavour to elevate recipes. So we had to give tamarind a spotlight in our menu with a signature drink!
Why this name?
“Me” means 𝕋𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕕 in Vietnamese, and this drink is inspired by Vietnam’s trending street drink“trà me muối ớt.” We gave it a twist by reimagining it with coffee and named it 𝕋𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕕 𝕒𝕄𝔼𝕣𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕟𝕠—a playful blend of words. In Vietnamese, you could also call it “cà phê me muối ớt.”
A tea-like Washed coffee from Yunnan blended with homemade tamarind syrup, shaken to perfection to create a smooth, foamy texture. To top it off, we add a sprinkle of chili salt for that extra kick. The result? A flavour explosion—sweet, tangy, a hint of savoury spice—all perfectly balanced. Remember to enjoy it in big sips!
