Playing Field Playing Field is a Sunday session with a twist. It brings Melbourne’s music & dance communities together for a chilled evening.

Grab a beer & watch some beloved musicians play a stripped back set, whilst dancers move to their sweet sounds. It brings Melbourne’s music and dance communities together for a relaxed playtime. Everyone is welcome, so grab a beer that’s made on site, watch some of your beloved musicians play a stripped back set, whilst dancers move to their sweet sounds. The early evening event is the perfect way

to connect with other creatives, or just sit back and enjoy the visual feast over a well-deserved Sunday drink. If you would like to be one of the dancers that get to improvise to the music, please tag the instagram .field in a improvisation video. Chosen dancers will be informed and on the night will get up one at a time and improvise to one song each. DATES:

🙏🏼 At the end of last year, PLAYING FIELD had the privilege of collaborating with Carmen Robertson as part of ‘WOT’ presented at La Mama.

‘Being born deaf never stopped Carmen from becoming a performer, composer and teacher and she’s here to share her perspective on how everyone can use their senses differently to get more enjoyment out of music’.
