This South African born, half Portuguese, New Zealander is a cultural chameleon, his selecting style reflects his ethnic diversity, pulling inspiration from all forms of music & genre.
His obsession with Dance music began fresh out of high school after attending his first rave, the progressive sounds of melodic house left him mesmerised. 12 months later Paulo was selecting his first club gigs in Auckland city, growing up through the golden era of Electro, EDM & Progressive house, he drew inspiration from the likes of Porter Robinson, Wolfgang Gartner, Boys Noize, Cosmic Gate, Pryda, Major Lazer, Bingo players, Deadmau5, Bloody Beetroots, Tommy Trash, A-Trak & so many more.
As the years passed his inspiration matured and with it his selections became more refined. Youβre now more likely to hear a selection of Toolroom, Defected, Glitterbox, Glasgow underground, Mother and Elrow records sprinkled throughout his sets.
Paulo considers himself a true lover of all music and the pure power of connection it has, bringing familiar strangers together to dance their nights away in the most intimate of settings.
