Working with short lengths of low grade material, used mixed reality guides with a mitre saw to accurately cut the parts to fit a double-curved reciprocal frame structure.
The Offcut Pavilion was designed and fabricated by at Pelican Studios for the annual Building 4.0 CRC Conference on the future of construction. The design explores new uses for reclaimed framing timber that in ordinary construction demolition would go to landfill.
