A closer look at my small tapestry ๐˜•๐˜ฆ๐˜ธ ๐˜จ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ - a finalist in the Australian Tapestry Workshop's Australian Tapestry Workshop Irene Davies Award.
This recognition means so much to me, especially as I begin to work tapestry weaving into my textile practice.
With my own affinity with all things lichen-like, weaving feels like a natural way to explore the networks that hold ecosystems together. (Plus its a joy, I love the process!)

Showing alongside an amazing array of other tapestries from across Australia and the globe from 29 Oct 2026-16 Jan 2027, Australian Tapestry Workshop.

I'm excited to share that I am a finalist in the Australian Tapestry Workshop's Australian Tapestry Workshop Irene David Award.

My tapestry, ๐˜•๐˜ฆ๐˜ธ ๐˜จ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ will be showing in the exhibition from October 29 - January 16.

Incorporating weaving alongside my lichen/fungi embroidery practice has felt like a natural progression to me. I'm looking forward to showing alongside an array of amazing local and international artists.
