First review is in for at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023!

"Every joke lands in Greece Lightning and if you like your comedy to be utterly ridiculous and absurd, then this is the show for you. It’s only day two of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival but this is definitely going to one of the fest’s best."

No topic is off limits: climate change, feminism and why small towns have too many pubs. "I Hope My Keyboard Doesn't Break" is a witty musical romp that portrays Gabbi’s life as a 20-something woman in Australia alienated by a global pandemic, online sexism and the overbearing societal pressure to download 20 different meditation apps.

Originally from Bathurst, Gabbi became an overnight success the usual way – singing duets with former PM Kevin Rudd on TikTok during the pandemic.

Winner Best Comedy 2019 & 2020 Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award

Ninety-nine problems. Fifty minutes. One woman. One spider suit. An insufficient number of solutions. No refunds.

If you currently have, or have ever had problems, then the probably upbeat new show from award-winning comedian and journalist Ange Lavoipierre is absolutely for you. Fast-paced and unrelenting, this beguiling display of self-pity is the holiday from your own problems you’ve been waiting for.

Three mates with no talent but a whole lot of confidence attempt to create the most epic theatre show of all time.

Darryl, Vinnie and Berrick are self-proclaimed thespians with mullets and mummy issues.

Balls deep in inspiration and with too much time on their hands, the boys join forces to create a theatrical masterpiece. Opening night looms. Can they pull it off?

A funny gal with a sweet demeanour, veiling razor-sharp wit, Madeleine will keep you on your toes and entertained.

You may have caught her episode on Dylan Alcott’s 'Listen-Able' podcast, or seen her on Tonightly (ABC). Madeleine is a powerhouse who has worked alongside Adam Hills, Andrew Denton and Rove McManus to name a few.

Have you always found it hard to Keep it Up? So has Poncho, on many occasions, and to be honest some of those occasions were harder than others.

This show is an absurd journey through Dani Cabs’ mind, his vulnerabilities, and perhaps some shameful learnt behaviours.
