$25,000 in 100 hours. We’re still a bit stunned.
Last Wednesday we did something we’ve never done in 15 years: we asked for help. We set what we thought was an ambitious target - $25,000, over 60 days.
You did it in 4.
We’ve read every message left on that page, twice (…okay, way more than twice).
But here’s the honest part: $25,000 was never the full amount. It was the floor - the minimum buffer to stop running a theatre without a net. It’s secured now, and it doesn’t move.
So we’ve raised the goal to $50,000.
We’ll print a new section of the Donor Wall every Defrost. Donor Wall 2026 closes 31 August, starting from $500.
If you’ve already backed us: we’re not asking you to give again. You’ve done your bit. The most useful thing you can do now is free - tell people you did it. Post it, story it, or send it to the one person who’d get it.
If money’s tight, Defrost runs until Saturday 8 August and there are seats at nearly every show. Come and take one. Bring someone who’s never been. A full room is worth a lot to us, and you’ll have a fantastic night to boot.
