Dead End Film Festival is back with a fresh program for their 2019 season! Devoted to resourceful filmmaking and hosted at the Coburg Drive-In, DEFF is challenging conventions around what film festival can or should look like.

At age 19 Amiel Courtin-Wilson directed his first feature length film that was nominated into Sundance Film Festival. Since then he has directed 6 feature length films and over 20 short films.

FILMIC* in conversation with David Roseztky.

David is a Melbourne-based visual artist, working with photography and moving image. His work has been featured in the National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery of Victoria and more. In 2008 Rosetzky was commissioned to create a video portrait of Cate Blanchett- his most well recognised work to date.

In this interview David elaborates on his major works and the ideas that support his portfolio, as well as providing insightful advice to emerging creators.
