It’s been a while.. since I picked up that brush.
It’s interesting how different things in our life creates various coping mechanisms and different ways of healing and how it can change from just one day to another.
It has been 5 years since my car accident, 5 years since painting became my way of healing. It has also been a bit over 3 years ago since we lost our home and everything with it in a house fire. And believe it or not but that incident was what made me stop painting. Holding on to that brush and healing my wounds with every single stroke wasn’t helping anymore.
Until last Sunday, watching one of my loved ones pass away, gave me the urge to give it another go.
I’m gonna fully trust this healing process and let it guide me through this heartbreaking time❤️

Nan, I got to love you for 10 beautiful years ❤️ You have shown and given me remarkable strength, unforgettable happiness, true friendship and love like no other and for you I will be forever grateful. I know we will meet again soon, until then, rest in peace ❤️
