“What did you learn from it?” is a typical question we all face when we talk about a past event.

I am usually stuck when this question is thrown my way. But, last year, I knew I had to answer this question when I was preparing for the Toastmasters’ International Speech Contest 2019-20.

What did I learn from the terror attacks in Mumbai in November 2008?

“How can one learn from an event like this?”, I thought. Turns out I did learn something!

Hear it out.

I presented this speech last week for Toastmasters International’s District 73 Eastern Division Speech Contest.

I’d appreciate your thoughts on my presentation.

Speech Title: Looking Back In Time
