Victorian State Schools Spectacular Annual program showcasing performing arts excellence across Victoria's government schools. All information via the link below!

The Department of Education and Training's Performing Arts Unit coordinates the annual Victorian State School Spectacular. In 2017, the three-hour show will be held on Saturday 16 September at Hisense Arena. There will be two performances (1:00pm and 6:30pm). Across Victoria, students and teachers are all coming together for our Mass rehearsals!

Here’s some photos from our recent Mass Choir rehearsals (Mass Dance photos coming soon!)

It’s been a joy to watch students from different school communities form new friendships, build self-esteem, and refine their skills as they learn their choreography and vocal arrangements!

Thank you to our Choir Music Associate, Clare, and our Administration Coordinator Darren for travelling throughout the state to lead and coordinate these regional sessions and prepare our students for the stage!

The awards recognise the important work of skilled school staff including principals, assistant principals, business managers and education support staff.

Winners receive grants of up to $25,000 for professional development. 🎉

Victorian government school staff can nominate themselves or a colleague. However, principals cannot nominate themselves.
