About the Role
We are looking for our next Part-Time Event Coordinator to join our team in Sydney!
At Study Destination, you will play a key role in engaging and growing a vibrant community of more than 10,000 international students across Australia.
Through relationship building, events, partnerships and creative initiatives, you will help strengthen our brand presence, foster meaningful connections, and generate new leads for our sales team.

✨ Responsibilities
🎯 Event Management
Organise and lead local events end-to-end
Manage all event logistics, including:
Registration processes
Social media content capture
Event engagement metrics
Ensure each event aligns with the global marketing strategy
🤝 Community Engagement
Deliver creative, high-impact initiatives to engage our student communities
Increase brand presence
Generate new leads for the sales team
📣 Event Communication
Develop and execute event communication plans
Manage promotional campaigns and asset delivery
Coordinate post-event activities and follow-ups
🔗 Strategic Partnerships
Collaborate with local businesses and partners
Drive brand loyalty and customer acquisition
🎤 Event Hosts Management
Recruit, foster and manage a pool of casual activation staff and employees
Represent the Study Destination brand during events in Sydney
📊 Event Performance & Reporting
Maintain accurate event metrics and feedback
Provide regular reports and insights
Continuously improve engagement and event outcomes
✅ Requirements
❤️ Passion for Community
A genuine desire to connect with people and build community — especially within the sport, student and expat space.
🎪 Experience
Minimum 1 year experience as an Event Coordinator or Assistant
Ideally with exposure to community management and social media
🌍 Languages
English: C1 level minimum (written and spoken)
French or Spanish: desirable (C2 level proficiency preferred)
📋 Skills
Strong organisational skills: ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, across different locations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong relationship-building ability with cross-functional teams, ambassadors and the student community
