I chose this song as the first preview to the album because it represents the unveiling of me as an artist, a shedding of the layers. It represents my decision to emerge and share my solo music beyond the lounge room walls. Through my music, I want people to feel inspired to stand up and be proud citizens of planet earth. To feel compelled to learn and understand more about the place we call home and how we can consciously adapt our behaviours so the abundance of species and delicate ecosystems that we all rely upon to survive, can continue to thrive for generations to come. This conversation simply cannot hide anymore.
Vessel is about our inherent responsibility to look after this incredibly beautiful, spinning ball that is so gracefully suspended in space for all of us the enjoy.
There is no life without nature, so nature must become a collective priority for the greater good of all.
