A beautiful little bundle of blue and green for our Square in a square project.

I stumbled across a photo in my phone yesterday of a customer’s quilt that had used one of these bundles to make a . Swipe across to the third image to take a peek. We also have patterns available for this design if your looking for something to make this long weekend. Such a great design!

Our Beginners Raw Edge and Free Motion class is one of our most popular sessions. Free Motion is a tricky skill to learn and requires a lot of practice to master. Join us at the end of July for our last workshop covering this technique for the year. Learn the skills to start free motion quilting your own quilts!

You don’t need to have a Bernina machine to participate in these classes.

just have the best feed! This wonderful Thousand Pyramids was featured a few weeks back and while I made one of these quilts over the summer I really want to make another! Would I have the stamina to make the triangle as small as this … I don’t know … I’d like to think that I would have.

Something this small is a masterpiece!

The problem with owning a fabric shop is that every beautiful bundle my girls whip up makes me want to buy it all over again!!! 🤭

This Tuesdays quilt is very special! A fabulous 1880 hand pieced Tumbling Blocks quilt. Such a wonderful design. The maker has expertly arranged their light, medium & dark prints. I absolutely love it!

I’ve made several hexagon projects but never a Tumbling Block. How about you. What is your preferred hexagon based design?

On my lap this Monday is my final appliqué border for my Farmer’s Wife quilt. I take long breaks away from this, not because I done enjoy it, because I do! The issue is I’m easily distracted 🤭

So today I’m stitching this … tomorrow probably not 🤣 but she will eventually be finished 🙏🏻
