“But the big question is, what can we do to help? Here are some useful tips…
- Keep your eyes open. Flood affected wildlife will often take shelter in homes and garages. If you see sodden animals, try to take a photo and contact your local wildlife rescue organisation. Avoid picking them up unless you’re skilled. Instead…
- Put out boxes and dry towels that will provide shelter and warmth.
- Make sure dogs and cats are inside so their inquisitive side doesn’t frighten already stressed animals.
- Slow down on the roads. Animals will be dazed, confused and even shelter on roadsides.”

Flooding rains continue to lash large parts of the country. But when it’s safe to do so, our wildlife will need help. Here are some simple things everyone (including our pets) can do to make a difference…Here’s the thing. Just because they live their lives outdoors doesn’t mean they’re equ...

Q***r Choir are joining No Pride in Detention for this year's Pride March on Sunday.

We'll be singing:
- a new version of Solidarity Forever
- the old version of This Old Freedom Train
- and a new song written especially for the refugee movement, What is Peace to You?

Meet with us all at 1:00pm on the Ian Johnson Oval in St Kilda (see image) - No Pride in Detention are H3 in the order. We are bringing extra song sheets and will run through the songs with you before we march. The songs are easy and any level of singing is welcome!

P.S. Bring sunscreen, shade, a hat, tonnes of water. It's going to be hot one.

We’re an activist choir, aimed at raising awareness around q***r issues. The survey was our first focus.

We are lead by Q***rs for Q***rs. But anyone can join us, as long as you’re q***r-friendly.

Our aim is to bring joy to the world, amidst all the crap LBGTIQ people face, and to show that Q***rs are fabulous (and to be fabulous). We also aim to confront transphobia, homophobia and biphobia through singing.

We believe singing is transformative!

We are flashmob style. Community based. Open to diverse voices, talents, and identities.

Many of our members are members of other Melbourne choirs, and have come together to sing with fellow Q***rs during the survey and beyond.

If you would like to join us: please check out our Q***r Choir Members Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Q***rChoirMelbourne/
