So hi, Cris Zerotonin(e) here! After letting the confetti settle a bit I just wanted to thank you all for making our return to proper events so wonderful. I especially want to thank the folks who helped me run things so smoothly, our door crew Nova and Barbosa, our promoter Jess, our VJ Fyo, the other performers (Imre, Tully and Jadei), the venue manager Chloe, and Bread who pressganged himself into being our lighting designer.
Also, big ups for being the most well behaved club clientele ever. Venue runners are always so surprised that they don't have to deal with any drama and I'm like, "of course - we're zero tolerance on bad actors". But really, your enthusiasm and kind words/messages you shared with me on the night and online have been wonderful. On a personal level, the past couple of years have been a rollercoaster but I'm finding my way to be authentic and true and maintaining the best community of wonderful weirdos I could ever dream of.
We commissioned a photoshoot with the core crew members and a couple of VIPs, and it's time to share on of our badass images with some of the people that mean the most to me. Pictured is me, Barbosa, Nova, Jess, Slime, Visceroid and the WH40K Servo Skull is representing Xyberjunk who lives in Canberra.
On that note, if you've got any sweet ass photos or video, we'd love for you to share them with us :D.
I'm planning on running at least one more of these this year, probably October during the PAX weekend and as soon as we have details we'll share them with you.
