Our physical location is currently closed but we will reopen in a new Melbourne location in the second half of 2021. The artists we represent are carefully selected on the basis of their personal approach to making. This approach is apparent through their sensitivity, their careful s

election of materials and their skillful, appropriate use of these in line with a clear concept. As well as showing jewellery, Funaki stocks a range of catalogues by represented artists.

David Clarke is often cited as one of Britain’s most highly innovative silversmiths. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1997, Clarke has produced a wealth of objects that have proven pivotal in the renaissance of contemporary British silversmithing. Clarke has a well-earned reputation for producing engaging, intelligent and challenging domestic objects. The aesthetic most often associated with Clarke’s work relates to the subversive nature in which he responds to the entrenched traditions of silversmithing, often taking it to surprising extremes.⁠

I’ll be down at MPRG on Friday, deep in-conversation with the brilliant Julie Ewington and gallery director Dunja Rmandic about Helen Britton’s exhibition ‘The Story So Far’, but you can come and chat to Inari about her work from 12-3. And she’ll be there on Sat 12-4. ⁠
