I bought emperor gum moth eggs to raise and release. I started with around 100-150, it’s normal to lose afew but I somehow ended up losing most to ‘the black death’ a vile and unforgiving virus caterpillars can get. It has a low mortality rate.

Out of the 100-150 I ended up saving just 5. These are the cocoons that will stay like this untill summer comes around. I can only hope from here there are no issues.
I’m going to attempt to breed then release after they lay eggs as I wish to try again next year 💜
