COURSE AIMS
The general purpose of the course is to provide the skills, knowledge and attitudes for training in acting for film and television. Certificate III in Acting (Screen) has been designed for students with a strong interest in pursuing acting or related jobs. The course will provide the skills and knowledge needed for a broad range of acting tasks relating to the Film and Television industry. Merilyn Brend, Principal Tutor and Administrator of ACDA has a history as a dialouge coach, trainer, teacher, writer and agent. Former VET Acting student

Danaë is a Melbourne-based filmmaker working as a Producer and Production Designer.

With over 4 years of experience in the film industry, Danaë has worked across roles on over 12 feature films, and countless shorts, music videos, TVCs, web series and other projects. Danaë is developing a career in shaping compelling narratives and bringing creative projects to life, crafting immersive and visually captivating films and stories.
Graduating from her Honours in Film and Television, Danaë quickly built up a folio of design and producing work across a diverse range of genres and styles, with a particular reputation in horror.
We are delighted to have Danae as a trainer at two of our course locations, both for the Brimbank Cluster and also the Inner East Cluster.
