Playable Streets Playable Streets(PS) is a participatory arts company. Playable Streets have created a series of works that explore public collaboration and collective play.

We want to give everyone the opportunity to be creative in their Public Spaces.We create Participatory Situations because we believe that one small act of creativity can open up a world ofpossibilities Our mission is to engage and re-connect communities through collaborative art in public spaces, at home and online. We are a team of visual artists, designers, engineers and composers creating site-

specific installations that transform public space, interactive art books and online experiments. We work with communities to tell their stories in new ways. We also present workshops for a diverse range of participants exploring the intersection of Music, Technology, Art and Design. Who needs an ageing filter when you can do a PhD? It sure has been a tall porcupine to wrestle (and has helped so much with my analogies). I would not have that smug smile and prop tube in my hand without the amazing support of Jamie Houge, the Playable Streets family, my actual family, and my supervisors Dr Rea Dennis and Dr Miles O’Neil (yes that Miles!) In case you were wondering my thesis is titled The Creative Facilitator: Principles and Practice in Outdoor Participatory Performance if that niche crosses over with your niche let’s chat!
