Come as you are comedy

The other day I was handing out flyers in Richmond. As I was approaching a house there was a lady out the front who was around 65 year old standing out the front of our house and asked me what I was handing out. I gave her one of my flyers and had a chat with her for about five minutes. In the end she told me that she probably won’t be able to make my show, but she loved the photo. I told her she could keep the flyer and frame it and put it on her bedside table. I’m always happy to help.

Stand-up comedy dedicated to all you, hard-working, hospitality staff.

Come down to the nevermind bar in Hawthorn, for some of the best comedy in the area. With Melbourne’s finest comedians performing every Monday night. So if you’ve been working hard through the week in hospitality, or any other industry, come down to D stress and have a laugh.

Located downstairs in the basement of the Nevermind Bar we have a fantastic setup. A stage that has its own fireplace, the perfect seating and tables for you to sit down. Have a drink and a pub style meal. Trust me, the chicken Parma’s are amazing. And food is not your jam. The friendly bar staff can whip you up an amazing cocktail or three which will allow you to think that we are funnier than what we actually are. 

The name come as you are comedy definitely being a play on Nirvana‘s Nevermind album. In saying that it also stands for exactly what it says. Come as you are, as casual as you like to be. We want you to be comfortable and feel like you’re at home . Although you’re not, you’re out with us having the time of your life.

We want to make sure you have a fantastic experience and let us take you on a journey into our mind’s deepest thoughts and take you away from your everyday troubles and laughter is the best medicine for that.

Just another fun night at the nevermind bar. What a fun lineup. All I can say is s**t got dark. But it seemed darker. We got the more. The crowd laughed. At one point stingray, thunder almost made a girl, vomit from laughing so much. Such a highlight of the night he was so close.
