Two highly influential records from the lords of stoner / southern rock.

Revisiting these, after maybe not really having listened to them since high school, I can confirm both Blues For The Red Sun (1992) and …And The Circus Leaves Town (1995) still hold up.

The band of course fell apart, but would give way to the likes of Josh Homme’s Queens Of The Stone Age (and many more).

Our 7” racks are pretty crammed at the moment with a lot of early Swedish hard rock and proto heavy metal from the 1970s, ‘80s and 90s.

Some really unobtanium (in this country at least) type material that’s well worth digging through if that’s your bag.

Spring has sprung and it’s a lovely day to defrost while looking at art and browsing physical media products in the record shop.

Negative Presence, our current exhibit from Alex Meagher / Marms featuring a bunch of really cool destructive film photography techniques, will be up for the next few weeks.
